Hey man, Go to the hardware store and get about 2 feet of 1 inch diameter pieces of PVC pipe. Remove your hatch struts and measure and cut two identical lengths of PVC that are around an inch and a half shorter than the solid shaft part of your strut. Attach some velcro to the cylinder tube to hold the PVC in place when the hatch is in the "down" position. Slide the PVC over the strut and reattach. When you raise your hatch, lower the PVCs into place and they will "wedge" up against the edge of the main cylinder on the strut, propping your hatch up very well. DIXON
