Two stroke oil is designed to be burnt and is extremely thin when warmed. It does not have any of the additives that 4 stroke crank oil needs for bearings and longevity. I would consider it to be dumb and it is definitely myth on improving operations. You want thin change to a light synth and get the needed additives to keep the engine running on good oil longer. jimt On 9/7/05 8:35 AM, "samc" <samc@SURFGLOBAL.NET> wrote: > A fellow I know asked the other day if I had ever heard of adding 2 cycle > engine oil into every engine oil change.
