as an almost-lifetime vw van owner i believe i've logged sufficient
mileage to comment that it's almost funny how much chat here relates to
whether our vdubs will make it to a destination, whether they did make
it to a destination or whether they will make it back or did make it
back from a destination without going up in a cloud of steam or smoke.
what is the madness that we share in putting up with these damned
things? art, '82 westy (ex-'82 van, ex-'68 bus)

Well, we're packing up to go to the Chilliwack Bluegrass Festival,
though the weather is a little autumnal at present! Looking forward to
playing with musical friends from around the PNW, and to seeing mandolinist
Roland White and Perfect Strangers. Hoping the new (to us) motor is
happy in
its new home and gets us there AND back this time! Seeya, Jake.
