I'm doing some serious consideration of converting my Westy to TDI, but I'd
really like to see a coversion (and ride in it preferably) before too much
more consideration. Does anyone have one close by that I could take a peek?

Yep, I know they are expensive.
Yep, I know they are a big project.
Yep, I know I'd be creating a non-stock frankenstein out of my Cheery 89
Westy (40K original miles).
Yep, I've been poking around on the Yahoo-groups

At this point I'm just at the "learning more" stage. Humor me. Torque and
MPG sound attractive to me, even if I'd never recoup the cost of the
conversion in fuel savings.
