how about a patch kit, designed for rubber rafts? http://www.waterstrider.com/rafting-gear.htm if you live on the coast or in white-water country, you should be able to find a local retailer. aaron '87 syncro gl -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of jbclem1 Sent: Friday, September 16, 2005 3:17 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Patching driver's seat cover My driver's seat cover (vinyl) has a tear in it and I've tried patching it with duct tape. After a few days the duct tape seems to start curling and sliding from one edge...probably because of my body heat and movement. It also is enlarging the tear. I wonder if there is a better way to patch the seat cover, something that will last a while until I want to replace it. I also need to figure out a way to fill in a depression in the foam, right under the tear. Any ideas? John
