Check local laws on reflective materials and lights. White is not permitted here if on the rear. On the rear it must be red. White is permitted on sides and front. Yellow is preferred on sides but is sometimes permitted on the rear. Depends also on type and class of vehicle. Confused yet???? All I wanted was to add some reflective material to my mini trailer. Still havent. jimt On 9/23/05 2:43 PM, "tabe johnson" <xtabe@YAHOO.COM> wrote: > I initially was going to use red but the Wife Unit pointed > out it was, like, rilly rilly ugly and would have none of it. > So I went with the white which is basically invisible during > the day. > > I got it off'n ebay (search for "DOT Reflective Tape") but > it's available in various qualities (reflectivites) from > FLAPS, industrial supply places, trailer stores, etc. > > > tabe johnson/87 westy > >
