I know nothing about the legalities or prudence of such a hookup, but it sure
as hell would look hinky.  Sell the Syncro on the West Coast and then buy one
in the Southeast (southern vehicles are rustfree) for half the price.

Although the Element's big green go button might work well enough, its stop
button might queef out at an inopportune time..
