This is a followup to the issue im running into with no/poor reception on my
radio.

I have a new headunit already and that didnt help (had to replace that
anyway.)

Now I have a brand new antenna, standard black tiawan one from Bus Depot,
but that didn't seem to help any yet either.

Next I have to replace the actual antenna cable going to the back of the
radio. When I swapped the antenna itself last night I just re-used the same
original cable, so perhaps that was the cause all along? we'll see.

It must be something funky, because the PO even had a little FM booster
mounted in the cabin when I first purchased the vanagon. It helped boost the
signal of the FM, but not the AM and when on it was pretty grainy/fuzzy.

ill update again after I swap the antenna cable itself, hopefully later
tonight.
