If you are going to drop the engine/trans as a unit here is a suggestion.
Some people have used about 5 or 6 sections of 1 inch dia. pipes,3 feet
long as rollers.They space these under a 2X6 foot section of plywood. Drop
the unit on this , and then roll it out from under the van.
