Mine is under the luggage rack... ok well it's an XM radio antenna, and every since I installed XM I've left my normal antenna fully retracted so I've forgotten it's even there. I did hear about someone replacing the vanagon antenna with (I think) a mazda rx-7 antenna or something. Anyway, it was one of those 12 inch long black plastic things. Looked better than the standard vanagon whip style antenna. Sorry I don't have a link for you. -Jon ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew Grebneff" <andrew.grebneff@STONEBOW.OTAGO.AC.NZ> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, October 05, 2005 8:54 PM Subject: Re: [VANAGON] contemporary VW antennas on Vanagons??? > >Hi all, > > > >Since I've had my vanagon I've disliked the location of my radio > >antenna...body, front driver's side.
