Hi Folks:
I need the following info, and informed opinion.

(1)What is the approximate shipping weight of a Vanagon automatic
transmission, with final drive assembly?

(2)If such a transmission was in good working order, and was stored
away in a garage for four years , is it more likely that:  (A) it
would still be in good working order when installed in a van, after
a fluid/filter change, or  (B) it would more than likely NOT be
functional, and would need a rebuild due to sticky valves, hard
seals, etc.?
