After looking at the pictures it seems to me, that there is a problem with the quality of the seals or you have a alignment problem with the crankshaft. Was the case align bored for the overhaul? The way most seals fail is on the lip area, to break further up on the seal something appears to be putting pressure on one side of the seal, maybe this is a alignment problem, just my opinion, I could be wrong.
