The corporate name SAAB is actually an acronym S.A.A.B. from the words Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget (Swedish Airplane Company, Inc., or something like that). This Charles guy should bust on them for usurping HIS name. Should make for an interesting lawsuit and settlement. --- Inua <inua@CHARTER.NET> wrote: > Joel Walker wrote: > > >> Can you imagine having to change your family name > because a > >> corporation > >> doesn't like you? > > > > > > don't work that way.... in birmingham, alabama, > there's a fellow named > > Charles Saab who runs a tire store. > > he got a letter from a lawyer telling him to cease > and desist using > > Saab in the name of his store cause the car > company didn't like it. > > really nasty letter. > > > > he just mailed a copy of his birth certificate > back to the lawyer. > > > > never heard another word. :) > > > > uj > > > > > It's nice to know the little guy wins one once in a > while!! > > John Rodgers > 88 GL driver > __________________________________ Yahoo!
