I know...I've just seen DoKa's on eBay and TheSamba - plus researched them in Canada. It just seems like a real pain to get them in from Canada. I realize it is a hard question - but I really do appreciate your information. Please forward me information anyone may have about DoKa's for sale. Thanks, Tom Joel Walker wrote: >> I know this is a subjective question...but what do you all think a DoKa >> syncro is worth inside the US? > > > wow, that's kinda like asking "how high is up?". :) > > but my opinion would be that, were i to have the money, i'd pay about > 1.5 to 2 times > the price for a doka, that i would pay for a same-year, > same-condition, same-miles > syncro 7-passenger van. sorta like that. and the only real reason i'd > pay more is that > the doka is rarer. > > why not more? cause it's gonna be a real pain to find body parts for > the doka. :( > since they were never imported, you will have to go to canadian > dealers/junkyards > or german ones to get any sort of body parts that are specific to > dokas ... like the > side gates or tool-chest doors/locks, or the rear people-door. so it > could become > a real problem if you found bondo or bad body repairs. :( > > that's my opinion, fer what it's worth. ;) > good luck! > joel >
