Bummer!  I didn't realize you needed a new engine.  That sucks. Here I
figured you'd probably finally made it out of Michigan.  Well, don't worry,
you will!

As for me, I'm temporarily off the road - in Malawi, doing some work for a
change.  It's actually quite interesting, but I miss Matilda!  She's in
Boulder, waiting for me to return, sometime after Thanksgiving.  

So are you now ditching your mechanic's engine person and going with a
Boston Bob?  Or still waiting for one from the same guy?

Live and learn- instead of getting my new engine from Boston Bob like I was
planning, I let the mechanic talk me into getting it someplace he has dealt
with before. Unfortunately, after waiting a week for the engine, the wrong
one was shipped- air cooled instead of water cooled. Now we have to wait
another week for the right one! I had hoped to be in sunny warm southern
Cal by now!! Michigan is getting a bit nippy, plus I am having to camp out
with friends and family whereever I can find a bed. With a dog and a cat,
that's not easy. Think happy thoughts for me!
