I had this happen on a '91 Westy about 5 years ago after overfilling the oil on a change. I drained a quart and the problem disappeared. If my memory serves, the crankcase pressure was forcing misted oil out the filler. Bob Stevens '87 Westy Syncro "Passion Fruit"
