I know as a fact, demonstrated in my very own driveway, that a stock 1.9l exhaust WILL NOT fit directly on a stock 2.1l engine. The oil filter sticks out farther on the 2.1l, because of the oil cooler between the filter and the block. But, a complete 2.1l exhaust is not much different, only in pick-up tabs for mounts, I think. So, use a 2.1l exhaust to get around this problem. Or, leave off the oil cooler. I personally would keep the cooler, but that is another option. I am thinking of things like the exhast headers, the intake manifolds, oil cooler and the water pipes and hoses etc. Does sombody have a comprehensive list of parts needed to make this swap work?
