Not having utilized the oil cooler unit on my oil filter, I would have never known that the 1.9 exhaust would not fit on my 84 Westy. Otherwise, the 1.9stock exhaust has worked in a most excellent fashion on my 2.1 for the past 8+ years. And no, the oil does not run hotter despite the Westy being loaded up for full-time living (almost 7 years now) and pulling a 1000lb trailer once in awhile :-) -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com ********************************** On 11/8/05, Evan Mac Donald <macdonald1987@sbcglobal.net> wrote: > > I know as a fact, demonstrated in my very own driveway, that a stock 1.9lexhaust WILL NOT fit directly on a stock > 2.1l engine.
