So is there solution to this problem? I know VW
improved the part, but it's still not perfect.  Have I
heard that there's an Austrailian made aftermarket
piece that's much stronger? Maybe one could round and
polish the corners of the notches to remove the stress
risers, then have it cryogenically treated.
