Here's a dyno chart of speed/rpm vs. time. Zetec up top, waterboxer
below... and are gear limited... even if you had the power to push the van
through air etc on the road, you would still top out at these speeds with
this set of gears/tires. You see the rev limiters kick in at the top of the
rpm curves:
