Of Xantrex is a true rated, high quality piece of equipment. The inverter charger combinations are awesome. My motor home has a 2,500 watt unit with the built in 100 amp battery charger. You gotta see it run 2 televisions and the microwave. However, it is feed by 4 golf cart batteries. True output is more like a third of rated output Greg, I disagree, when it comes to the brand Xantrex from Costco. http://tinyurl.com/b7mcy The 1000w unit I bought has outperformed my expectations. It runs my 9 amp sawsall witout a problem. I trust the 1750w unit would perform to the specs listed on the Costco website. They are manufactured in Canada and have great quality.
