I'm getting ready to add such a device to my new laptop and the variety of units on the market is confusing= Loren, I'm using a _Hauppage USB TV tuner_ (http://www.hauppauge.com/) with my laptop Works like a charm. Mounted a _Boomerang_ (http://www.wintenna.com/boomerangs.htm) antenna on the roof with a magnet mount and ran the cable down through the pop-top using a surface mount connector so the Boomerang can be easily removed if need be.
