I'd have to say that the Alko's are the best value for the dollar of any of
the Vanagon shocks I carry (which includes all of the majors; Boge,
Bilstein, Koni, KYB, etc.). Very good performance yet relatively
inexpensive.  (I'd probably give my 'best shock' rating to the
user-adjustable Koni's, but they're pricier of course.)
