Anybody use Mozilla Thunderbird and their e-mail client software??

I'.ve just installed the newest version and everytime I start it up I
get a window up that says "This folder is being processed. Please
wait!". Then there is this very long waiting period before I can go and
get my e-mail. I've never seen this before in earlier versions.

If anyone knows what is going on, I would appreciate heaing from you  -
off list of course.
