Hey Fellow Members:
Check out auction #4596582703 for an '88 passenger vanagon with a
gas WB engine (pictured) & 4 spd.  When I pointed out to the seller
that his mileage claim was dubious, he responded that he had
calculated his mileage over three tankfulls, at 55 mph!  I do give
him credit for revising  his description (sort of) afterwards. 
Imagine the power of a waterboxer, with the fuel mileage of a
diesel.  As  Chris Turner would say, "Someone should snap this up!"
