My syncro has sat for a few weeks, and when I drove it this morning I
noticed the tranny making some creaking, sort of rattling sounds.  Not  rattling
like it is being lugged, and no hideous metal scraping sounds, but  still not
quite what you want to hear from amidships in the early am.  It  has about 165k
on the original tranny, is this the sound of impending  doom?
