You can try any solvent such as paint thinner, mineral spirits, etc, even lacquer thinner, but be careful of fumes and water heaters. Solvent and a wire brush will break down the oil and hopefully get it to sink down into the pores and out of the bottom of the concrete. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matthew" <mpteleski@YAHOO.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Monday, December 19, 2005 11:44 AM Subject: oil out of concrete > volks, i borrowed a friend's garage to do some bus > work this weekend and spilled some tranny fluid on the > smooth concrete floor. any recommendations on how to > remove that oil? i soaked up most of it with sawdust > but still have a pretty good stain. it is about 10 > degrees below freezing right now, so water and > simplegreen won't cut it. > > thanks > mp > > "Racing with the wind and flirting with death > So have a cup of coffee and catch your breath" > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
