I recall an event a number of years ago when one of our local lumber yards
had a 50 pound box of  1 1/2 inch roofing nails off the back of their
delivery truck....  In my own shop we fixed and unbelievable number of flats
and charged back to them!

I got 13 on my set of 4 tire. 34,000 miles.Seems rather high considering in
my entire life ,except for 1 other time, I have had about 3.I live in a rich
jurisdiction that can afford to  repair the roads,and I only drive in good
areas. I was about 18 when i got a cluster  of flats(again on good
roads).Must be some lepricaun type  people with nails.
