Thanks for writing. Can I reuse the short attaching hose on the intake
runner if I use a hose clamp?

Head gasket problem is the reason. I am going to totally remove the head
gasket and replace it with RTV  high tempature gasket material. After this
I will reinforce the new "gasket with JB stick welds alllll the way around.

I did this before with just JB stick weld, and it held for over 2 years and
34K. It failed because I didnt clean the metal good enough.

I mean why remove the  worthless head form a  engine with 187K ?
