I'm communicating with someone in SLC that has a 1984 Westy for sale,
she seems less than knowledgeable about the van, says the PO told her it
  needed head gaskets, but no further info about it. She hasn't driven
it since she bought it, supposedly.  So, I'm trying to determine if the
van is really drivable or need gaskets right away, and also what the
real overall impression of the van is. Anyone in SLC able to check this
out? Thanks...
