Sounds like rear brake dragging maybe. Perhaps stickiness from sitting
around not moving? I had a broken spring in my right rear drum, a piece of
which kept rolling around and getting caught, causing an occasional nasty
grinding noise. Naturally I ignored it until it had scored the drum enough
to require replacing.
