So I was looking around on the ebay & came accross http://cgi.ebay.com/2200-Watt-Power-Inverter-with-Charger-20A-Output-NEW_W0Q QitemZ5847704061QQcategoryZ85805QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem this guy http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=26g1001s&iid=5 849584711&frm=284 has a number of the inverter/chargers in the 1000-2000 watt size all < $300 A quick look over the features seems to show they have most of what i want except the regulator function why are these inverter so much less than the xantrex class
