i just checked underneath the RF Frame outriggers all my vanagons here (all
15 of them! LOL) ...all US models and even my canadian market Doka -   and
they all have *WV2ZZZ  stamped as the prefix, and then followed by the rest of
the VIN number stamped on the back of the right front frame outrigger...
though the poprivited dash VINs dont have the ZZZ in them, otherwise the number is
the same as stamped on the RF frame outrigger...

so y'all can go out and check your RF frame outriggers and see what i mean...
