Dude!!!!!!!!! You just had the same problem as me, but in reverse. I wish I would have read your post 12 hours ago, as I just ordered a rebuilt automatic starter. My starter has been crapping out intermittently, and I had another left over from an engine conversion, but it was from a Manual transmission instead of an auto.
