I went with a much shorter tire on the 14" steel rims and I love how it
handles.  Even though it is not rated for the Westy, it handles, accelerates
and stops a lot better around town.  I discovered this when they were on my
brother's 1976 loaf Westy and they work well on my 85 westy.
