I am in the middle of installing a 2003 180hp 1.8T into a 1990 TriStar at this moment. Not much different than an ALH TDI except for the obvious fuel differences. Should be a nice engine with all that torque at low RPMs. Should give a 2.5L subi conversion a real run for the money! Anyone have any experience, comments, pros or cons on this conversion. I have a low mileage 03 Gti 1.8t total available to me for a good price, just wondering if I sould jump on this one. Thanks, Ethan
