I am concerned about putting Fat Mat under the carpet since it is a solid barrier. For those who have applied a solid barrier under the carpet, did you leave it as "removable"? It seems trapped water would tend to stay trapped. Also, what did you use to stick down the carpet after the soundproofing was applied? Tom Salicos '87 Syncro Westy EG-33
