So it seems that bosche makes two starters for the 81 Vanagon, which I have. SR19X is the one for the late 81 model, which costs a little more, and SR87X is the one for the early model 81 vanagon. The best prices ive found thus far seem to be at CIP1.com, at about $119 + core for the SR87X. how do i know which vanagon I got?
