yes..i installed a home depot exterior sealed outlet under the floor of my 84
sunroof van which has the carat interior in it..  its mounted under the
floor, under the sofabed.     i didnt want to cut into the side of the van and
install it there..   when i want to plug in, run a cord under my van, plug in, and
then plug my space heater, fan, cooler or whatever into the plug under my
sofabed.
