The roots is a decent blower, not my favorite, but perfect for making lots of low end if you don't have a screwcharger option. Not sure what you'd imagine a "good" blower to be for an SVX, since a roots or screwcharger for the SVX run $6200+ for the kit alone... and since if you went centrifugal you'd be fabbing a custom setup anyhow, for all the work and money involved you're better off with a turbo, and a weddle for when you chunk your tranny :) At 12:12 AM 2/1/2006, Andrew Grebneff wrote: >>We can install the Ford Racing roots blower on the zetec and make more >>power and more low end torque than the SVX without the extra weight and >>noise not to mention maintenance costs. > >Put a blower on the SVX engine... a DECENT blower, not a Roots... >-- >Andrew Grebneff >Dunedin >New Zealand >Fossil preparator ><andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> >Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut > >HUMANITY: THE ULTIMATE VON NEUMANN MACHINE > >DEMOCRACY: RULE BY THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR > ________________________________________ Bostig Engineering Engine Systems Voodoo http://www.bostig.com/ 978.772.3274 ----------------------------------------------------------------------
