Christopher, Possibly the shifter bushing could be on the way out. This makes it hard to hit the correct gears. BD used to sell these replacements but a quick search did not reveal it. More precisely; the stick shift pivot point as it passes through the floor. Ken Lewis http://neksiwel.20m.com/
