Subject:Re: Go Westy's 16" wheel offset ?

That explanation (offset) in my case, and your selective quote, eliminates
the possibility that the hiway-rock-slamming affected those right wheels;
ignores the fact that the left side bearings seem to be doing just fine; and
last, ignores the fact that the Go Westy rims are ET30. How come you did all
that, Sam? LOL

Bob Stevens wrote about his experience with GoWesty wheels:

"Besides the tires, both right wheel bearings failed within the next 18
months."

Failed wheel bearings is supposed to be one of the potential consequences of
using wheels with improper offset. This has been discussed numerous times
on the list, though some think this isn't true.
