So a few months ago I asked if any one had used these Fumotodrain vales a few ppl piped up saying the extenion would extend too much & thought that it might get ripped out off road. Yah I saw their point a did not bother with it Well I was surfing around yesterday and saw different take on these idea the femco drain plug http://www.drainplug.com/engels/html/e_voor%20wie.htm This design seems to not produce the extended valve but rather a slip on fitting with spring loaded valve, now I am curious if any body has tried this design and how far it extends from the recessed drain plug hole ----- Original Message ----- From: "TC" <trclark@SHAW.CA> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Thursday, November 17, 2005 4:23 PM Subject: Lazy mans way to oil changes-Fumoto Engine Oil Drain Valve > I dont why I never heard of these little gadgets > http://www.fumotovalve.com/merchant.cfm?pid=218&step=4 > > be great for my x--country trip, a true 5 mins change > look ma no wrenches
