The gauge sensor only has one wire. The two wire sensor is the temp 2 sensor for the ECU and idle controller. There is no polarity issue. The connector is the same as the fuel injectors. Any good auto parts store will have the repair pigtails for GM injectors. I replaced my water temp sensor (for dash gauge) and the connector was so corroded that I just put spades right on the wires to connect to the sensor. I'm curious if they have a polarity to them as my gauge went from reading 50% for normal driving conditions to 75% for normal driving conditions. Or is this just the temperamental nature of the sensitive system? The LED doesn't flash hot but I'm concerned once summer comes that the gauge will be sitting on 90% and not giving a very accurate indication of the temp. Shawn
