My 86 Westfalia Weekender has the silver socker mounted on the side of the passenger seat pedestal, now disconnected. Stock location or not? I don't know. Seems to me that getting the adaptor or to run standard 12V accessories is not the best route,I'll probably replace this broken unit with a std 12V power outlet, although all this talkhas me believing that I should have one just to be part of the Westfalia brotherhood!John
