Subject:Re: Upper and lower ball joints - how much time per front wheel?

The normal time to do the upper and lower ball joints for me is about 2
hours per side (4 hours total). You also need a press to do the lower one.
The parts are available from me for $35 for the upper ball joint and $28 for
the lower. If you were just doing the upper one it would be like 30 mins
per side, but getting to the lower one is kind of a bear since you have to
remove the front brakes and the entire front spindle to do it. I don't go
by book time so I have no idea what that would be.

Thanks,

Subject says it all.

I really would like to get a handle on the time it takes if any one has done
the job - and what the flat rate costs would be if anyone has the books.
Cost of labor plus parts.
