As a fellow californian I would caution a prospective owner about the perils of conversion vis-a-vis the dreaded California Air Resource Board. Pretty constraining about conversions except for subaru 2.2 legacy. Others will chime in with first hand experience. Robert 90 MV california model no rust :)
