Another option is a front wheel cradle that lifts the front wheel off the ground and you tow the motorcycle with the rear wheel on the ground. A lot less stress on the suspension and bumper mounts. There are several manufacturers of these and they run $250 up depending on how heavy duty they are. Most need a receiver hitch, but I saw one that attaches to a ball fitting type bar. >From: Christopher Gronski <gronski@GMAIL.COM> >Reply-To: Christopher Gronski <gronski@GMAIL.COM> >To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >Subject: Re: Carrying a Motor Bike?? >Date: Tue, 14 Feb 2006 08:49:37 -0500 > >Gary Lee did this, send him an e-mail: > >http://www.telusplanet.net/public/gary2a/rack/motorcycle.htm > >Chris > >On 2/14/06, David Yates <dyates1@bigpond.net.au> wrote: > > G'day folks, > > > > > > > > I have an '82 Vanagon camper with a '93 Subaru EJ22.
