I feel so left out!  My '85 Westy does not have a silver socket, but it
did come with middle seat tracks ... which I now use.

I'm going to be installing additional 12v outlets including at least one
in the rear cabin as that one in the dash just isn't enough and, even
with a splitter, is just too far away when camping.
