I dont think that pipe wil lcome out on its own. What I once saw someone on
this list do, was to cut the pipe like the pipe below it, and use a short
section of rubber hose to reconnect it when finished.
A short section of 1" heater hose and 2 hose clamps  from flaps will do the
fixins.
